Abstract Art

I've been working on a face lift for my living room with brighter colors (see previous furniture makeover posts) and needed something to coordinate for my walls. I broke out my acrylic craft paints and tried my hand at abstract art. I used two canvases that measured 2 foot by 4 foot each.  I did a little research on Pintrest to get a feel for what I thought might look good with what I was doing and what I thought I could accomplish.  I took inspiration from several abstract art techniques and came up with this.  I was rather pleased with my first attempt at abstract art and it looks good with the new look of my living room.
