Watercolored Remarkable You

I finally tried it! I've been watching the different techniques used for water coloring using inks on You Tube and got my nerve up (as I am fairly new to stamping) and tried out the technique using the Remarkable You stamp set from Stampin' Up!

When I originally tried it I used regular paper and it did NOT turn out great. Hence, the You Tube. I used watercolor paper and this is key to success. From there you have to just practice and try using different amounts of water versus ink. More ink and less water will give you a deeper, richer color. More water and less ink will give you a very beautiful, soft pastel color. Below are my first attempts and I'm very happy with the results. Although I will say I need to practice with the bleeding of color outside the stamped lines.
