Daisy Delight Fun Fold

I've always just loved daisies. They have been a favorite of mine since I was little. I think they are so fresh and simple and friendly. And the Gerber Daisy comes in so many different colors. I was just thrilled when I saw this in the new Stampin' Up catalog and I've been playing with because of a challenge card I am in with my Stampin' Up team. We do a challenge card each month or a swap. This month was a fun fold challenge and I thought this stamp set would be perfect.  

These cards are basically the same just use different colors on each card. I also added a 3D daisy using the Daisy punch to one of the cards.

 

       

Measurements

Card Base is in two pieces:

First piece: Start with a 12 x 12 cardstock. Cut to 11.5" x 5.5"

Score on the long side .25", 3.75", and 7.25". Now with the .25" score at the top, score on the short side at 5/8", but stop at the last score line. Cut along the 5/8" score line and remove the small strip.

Second piece:  2.75" x 4.25"

The .25 strip on the large piece will be where you attach the smallest panel. The next score will be a mountain fold and the last will be a valley fold.

Use Tear and Tape Adhesive to attach the smaller piece to the larger piece on the .25 edge.

The smallest panel is the front panel.

   Panel 1 – Cut two of each (front and back of the panel)

      Layer one:  2.25" x 3.75"

      Layer two:  2.5" x 4"

   Panel 2 and 3 – Cut two of each

      Layer one:  3" x 4.5"

      Layer two:  3.25" x 4.75"

   Panel 4 – Cut one of each

      Layer one:  3.75" x 5"

      Layer two:  4" x 5.25"

The daisies are stamped twice on top of each other to create more petals. I used the punch to cut out two daisies. I layered them and attached to the second panel to create more interest.
