Hello Crafters!
Isn’t this lady AWESOME! That is who I
aspire to be when my hair turns gray. To tell you the truth, it’s getting a
little bit of gray on top now, but as they say, only my hairdresser knows for
sure! I want to be just like her, still kicking up my heels and happy as can be
always feeling young at heart. She is FABULOUS!
This stamp set is called You’ve Got Style
and is in the new Stampin’ Up catalog that just came out at the beginning of
June (page 47).
I stamped the images using Stayzon Black
ink to that I could color in the images without smearing the ink. I used
Stampin’ Up markers to color. To add shading I simply used various levels of
pressure while coloring as well as coloring in small areas twice if I wanted a
slightly darker area.
Measurements
Card Base:
Cut 8.5" x 5.5"
Score at 4.25" on long side
Layer one: 5.25" x 4.25"
Layer two: 5" x 3.75"
Colors
used are Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Temping Turquoise, So Saffron, Melon
Mambo, Real Red, and Basic Gray.
